Privacy policy

1. Data on your device

Pocket X-ray stores preferences, favorites, recently viewed cards, study selections, study attempts, and saved issue reports in the app’s local storage. These records let you continue studying and return to saved material. Search is processed on your device. Reivax Studio does not automatically receive these records.

The app does not request camera, microphone, location, or health-record access. Its illustrations are included educational drawings. Do not include patient information in search or issue reports.

App-store services, operating-system diagnostics, and device backups follow those providers’ policies and your settings. Device backups may contain the app’s locally saved data.

2. Reports and support email

A saved report contains your description, issue type, related item when applicable, app/content version, and report time. Saving a report does not send it. Copy report places the selected report on your clipboard. Open email draft passes the selected report and support address to your email app. You review and send the message there.

If you email us, Reivax Studio receives your email address, message, and any information or attachments you choose to include. We use them to respond, investigate the reported issue, and keep track of its resolution. We do not sell support information or use it for advertising.

We use Google’s Gmail service to receive and store support email. Google and your email provider process messages as part of providing their services. Access to our mailbox requires account authentication. Support messages are not published on this website. We may retain a description of a software issue after removing the sender’s identifying information.

Do not send patient information, passwords, or confidential records. If you send sensitive information by mistake, contact us to request its removal.

3. This website and service providers

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses and network/request information to deliver and protect the website. We do not add advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms, or tracking cookies to these pages. Hosting and security processing is separate from the study records stored in the app.

Source links in the app and links on this website open only when you select them. Pocket X-ray does not attach your search, favorites, or study history to those links. The destination website and your browser may process information under their own policies.

Google and Cloudflare may process information on systems in other countries. Their policies explain their processing, safeguards, retention, and available privacy choices: Google privacy policy and Cloudflare privacy policy.

4. Retention and deletion

Saved app data

Local records remain until you delete them in Settings → Local data and privacy → Delete saved app data, or remove the app’s data through your operating system. The in-app action clears preferences, favorites, recents, study history, and saved reports. Educational reference content remains available.

This does not delete copies already made in email, clipboard history, backups, or other services. Backup, restore, and uninstall behavior follows your device settings.

Support correspondence

We keep support correspondence while working on the issue, then permanently delete it from our mailbox within 90 days after resolution. You may request earlier deletion. If a specific record must be kept to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute, we retain only the necessary information for that purpose.

Service-provider backups, security logs, and any copies in your own email account follow those providers’ retention processes. Deleting a message from our mailbox does not guarantee immediate deletion from all provider systems.

5. Your choices and rights

You can study without an account or sending an email. You control which reports to copy or send, and you can delete saved app data at any time.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you sent to support, email pocketxray.support@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as objecting to processing or making a complaint to your local data-protection authority. We may ask for information needed to confirm that the request concerns your own correspondence; do not send identity documents unless specifically necessary and requested.

Pocket X-ray is intended for radiography students and technologists, not children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian can contact us about information a child may have sent.

We update this policy when the app, website, or support practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes that need additional notice or consent will be handled as required before the new processing begins.
